Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. Thank you for the quick response. I have read that document in its entirety. SNMP does not show up there. This is also why the software wont install. As a followup, I just purchased an additional copy of windows 10 pro and installed on a different PC which is running windows 10 pro It has the same issue. The service shows as running in the services list too. The problem is they never show as added in the turn windows features on and off list.

The DISM log shows them both as an unknown feature when the software I am attempting to install runs. I also was going to try enabling from Powershell but it says the features are already installed. I spent around three hours trying different methods and internet researching before I posted my initial question. Thank you for the information. I have attempted the install methods you suggested. Neither is WMI. To clarify what I have done so far:.

As stated; SNMP is running as a service and is definitely installed on both machines. The problem is getting DISM to recognize they are installed as windows features. If installing them via DISM doesn’t do it, what will?

My understanding is this was an issue and was resolved in later releases. I have ran the DSIM health check and scan and my system shows no corrupt or missing files.
